WORKSHOPS:
EMBODIED AND COMTEMPLATIVE PRACTICES FOR MOMENTS OF TRANSITION
Riverleaf workshops are shaped by the meeting of natural rhythms and inner listening.
Some follow the changing seasons or lunar cycles; others explore Nidra, sound meditation, embodied practice, and contemplative reflection through sound, stillness, gentle movement, and guided awareness.
They may take place in different locations and contexts, while remaining rooted in the same intention:
to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with your own rhythms and inner wisdom.
The practices are guided and structured, while leaving room for personal experience. They draw on sound, embodied practice, contemplative reflection, and ritual, grounded in nervous system awareness, an attunement to natural rhythms, and attentive presence.
WHO IT’S FOR
For those who:
-
feel the inner impact of change and transition
-
are navigating completion, uncertainty, or new beginnings
-
value depth over surface experience
-
are drawn to embodied and contemplative practices
-
are curious about exploring sound, stillness, and reflection in community
Each workshop offers a thoughtfully held environment for reflection, embodied experience, and integration.
Perhaps you have been trying to figure something out.
A creative decision. A new direction. A feeling that is difficult to name. Or simply a sense that the rhythm you’ve been living in no longer quite fits.
When we are busy doing, making, solving, and keeping up, it can become difficult to hear what is happening underneath it all.
Clarity does not always come from trying harder. Sometimes it begins with listening.
This practice offers a space to step away from the immediate demands and questions that may be occupying you, and to slow down enough to notice what is already present.
Through gentle movement, guided awareness, Yoga Nidra-inspired rest, sound meditation with singing bowls and monochord, and journaling, we explore listening through the body, the senses, silence, sound, and reflection.
There is nothing to achieve and nothing to make.
Instead, you are invited to become curious about what you notice — and to create some space around what is already here.
Perhaps, in that space, something becomes clearer.
Perhaps something you had not been able to hear before begins to emerge.
Lichun will introduce a reflective tool from her sound therapy work with individuals, offering a way to listen beyond what is immediately known and encounter deeper layers of awareness.
Through this process, you are invited to discover your own insights and clarity, becoming an active and empowered participant in your own process.

-
Spring → Summer (Wood - Fire)
From Radiance to Expansion
(Late May – Early June)
A practice of awakening vitality and allowing inner radiance to extend outward.
As spring gathers warmth and momentum, this immersion invites greater presence, aliveness, and embodied expression — allowing what has taken root to meet the world with clarity and warmth.
-
Summer → Autumn (Fire - Metal)
From Expansion to Harvest
(Late August – Early September)
A practice of gathering what has ripened and making space for what is ready to be released.
As summer’s outward energy begins to soften, this immersion invites reflection on what has nourished us, what has grown, and what no longer needs to be carried forward — moving toward integration, discernment, and a more conscious return inward.
-
Autumn → Winter (Metal - Water)
From Descent to Restoration
(Late November – Mid December)
19 December 2026 Saturday 13:00-16:30
A practice of conserving energy and honoring inner quiet.
As the external world accelerates, this immersion offers a deliberate slowing down — inviting us to distill, restore, and turn inward, creating space for deeper rest and reflection.
-
Winter → Spring. (Water - wood)
From Stillness to Bloom
(Late February – Mid March)
A gentle emergence from stillness into clarity.
